Clayborn Hero's Quest

Clayborn Hero's Quest is our second born.  He is a beautiful golden.  He is a bit smaller than his sister, but more active.  We are calling him Noah.

Clayborn's Quest for Glory

Clayborn's Quest for Glory is our first born. She is a beautiful red brindle with a black mask and white trim just like her mamma. She is Phoebe's clone, so we are calling her Chloe the clone. :)

Questing Litter

I have decided on the litter theme of Questing.  This litter is a big step in my journey or Quest with dogs and something I have been working toward for a long time.  The theme is also in honor of Phoebe's K9 Nose Work® career which I hope at least one of these will be following in her paw prints.  The sport is all about a search or quest for hidden treasure.

The female's name is Clayborn's Quest for Glory and the male is Clayborn Hero's Quest.

Phoebe & Pups

The puppies are getting big. They are getting strong and agile. We have started their socialization. So far they have met three men and five women. They have crawled/walked on several types of fabrics and floors. They can not see or hear, but they know where they want to be and how to get there. I have been doing a Bio Sensor or Super Dog program with them.

Phoebe continues to love being with her puppies. She is a wonderful loving mother.

Phoebe is the #1 Silken Windhound in the sport of K9 Nose Work®  She is the first Silken to pass her ORT in birch and anise.  She has earned both her NW1 and NW2 titles.  She is featured in an article on Nose Work in the August 2012 issue of Sight and Scent magazine. http://www.sightandscent.net  There is more info on this sport at http://funnosework.com

She has done well showing in conformation.  She has won five Best in Breed awards and her International Championship.  She was Best of Opposite in the 2011 Silkenfest Puppy Sweepstakes.

She enjoys running and has points toward a straight racing championship.

Most importantly Phoebe is a wonderful pet and friend.  She is easy to live with and fun to work with.  She loves to work, play or just hang out.  I am so grateful to Bobbie of Firebird Silken Windhounds for this introduction to the breed.
Phoebe enjoying being a Mom.

Jacob

Jacob(UKC CH Rubia Ladder to the Moon ISWS SRC, ISWS FCH) is a beautiful coppery red color. He looks some much like a fox that it is neat to just watch him.  His personality is what really drew me to him. Jacob is a sweet, gentle dog who is a pleasure to be around.
C. Hayes
Jacob has successfully competed in straight racing and lure coursing.  He is an International Silken Windhound Society Straight Racing Champion.  He is also an International Silken Windhound Society Field Champion in lure coursing.
Jim Wallace

Jacob stayed with me for about six weeks this spring.  I had the pleasure to run him in the 2012 ASFA International Invitational.  Jacob was a wonderful house guest and very easy to live with.  He is just the kind of dog I want my puppies to be.
